Src funding

The Student Review Committee (SRC) provides financial support for students to attend professional and academic workshops, meetings, or conferences in which they may present their own work and/or learn more about the relevant issues in their field of work. It also provides support for students who wish to gain added training in research methodologies or technology (i.e. by visiting a different laboratory or undertaking a specialized skills course). Lastly, the SRC supports students wishing to initiate, conduct, and/or complete their research projects, in which they will distribute their findings through publications or conferences. In short, the SRC funds these types of activities:
  • Travel to workshops, meetings, or conferences
  • Training in new research methodologies
  • Initiating or continuing research projects
